Property policies

We welcome children 12 and over — the property isn't suited to children under 12. It keeps the compound the calm, unhurried place our guests come for, with an open pool and grounds designed for grown-up ease. Thank you for understanding.

• Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 10:00 AM.
• Keypad self check-in — arrive on your own schedule. We'll send your gate and door codes before arrival.
• Early check-in or late check-out may be possible on request, subject to the schedule between stays.

Cancellation terms are confirmed at the time of reservation and included in your confirmation email. If you need to change or cancel a stay, contact us as early as possible and we'll do our best to help. (Full policy text to be finalised by the owner.)

• No smoking indoors anywhere on the property.
• No parties or events allowed.
• No pets allowed.
• Quiet hours after 10pm — we're in a residential jungle setting.
• The saltwater pool is open 24 hours — swim at your own risk.

• Original artworks hang throughout the gallery hallways. They're there to enjoy — please don't touch or move them.

For the safety of guests and the property, exterior security cameras cover the gated entry, the gallery hallways and the pool area. There are no cameras inside any of the private living spaces. A first-aid kit is provided in each stay; all accommodations are single-level with no stairs.

We're in Playa Hermosa, one minute's drive from world-class surf. Most guests fly into San José (SJO) then connect to Cobano (ACO) — ask us about the airport taxi service. A 4x4 is recommended in the green season.
